„Global Health & WHO“ - Münchner Public Health Forum und Modul 23 Kino am 5. Dezember 2018

Das „Münchner Public Health Forum“ und das „Modul 23 Kino“ laden herzlich ein zu einer gemeinsamen Veranstaltung zum Thema Global Health und WHO am 5. Dezember 2018 ab 17 Uhr im Großen Hörsaal der Medizinischen Klinik Innenstadt der LMU / Ziemssenstraße 1.

The event will begin with a talk by Professor Dr. Ilona KickbuschDirector of the Global Health Center at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies - Geneva and chair of the international advisory board for the gloabl health project by the federal government. The topic of this presentation: "Global Health and Germany's position regarding the suppport of the World Health Organization". 

Following the presentation, a short film will be shown: "trustWHO - How sick is the World Health Organization?" . A documentary by the filmmaker Lilian Franck based on discussions with managers and former employees to gain insight into the structures of the WHO and factors influencing their work.

Subsequently a discussion on the topic "Global Health and WHO" will be held with the following participants: Prof. Dr. Ilona Kickbusch, Prof. Dr. Eva Rehfuess (Chair of Public Health and Healthcare research at the LMU Munich),  Prof. Dr. Matthias Siebeck (Initiator of the Modul 23 as well as co-founder and chairman of the Center for International Health at the LMU Munich).
