1. National Teaching Conference Epidemiology
On the 6th and 7th of November 2017, the 1st National Teaching Conference took place at the Clinical Research Center Hannover. It was supported by the Epidemiology Education Group (Mansmann, Strahwald, Schlipköter) – founded 5 years ago – of the MSc program Epidemiology, the DGEpi, the GMDS and the “multiplier” project of the LMU. The conference was organized in cooperation with the Helmholtz Center (Helmholtz-Zentrum) for Infectious Diseases Research Braunschweig.

At this function the first official version of the learning objectives catalogue of Epidemiology (Basics of Epidemiology) was presented to the two departments (represented by Eva Grill). The version is available for revision during the circulation procedure which will last until April 2018. It is planned to present version 2.0 at the European Congress of Epidemiology in Lyon in July 2018.
