Statement by the scientific associations for epidemiology, disease prevention, and public health regarding the current discussion on air pollution
Currently an emotional and not always factually correct debate is taking place within the general public on the health-related effects of air pollution. The scientific associations for epidemiology, disease prevention, and public health in Germany (DGEpi, GMDS, DGSMP, DGPH) have taken this debate as an opportunity to issue a statement regarding this topic.
