Stephan Weiland Prize goes to Ph.D. student Yanyan Shi

Yanyan Shi a Ph.D. student of the Ph.D. program Medical Research in Epidemiology & Public Health supervised by Prof. Eva Grill was selected for the Stephan Weiland Prize of the DGEpi (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Epidemiologie) for her publication:

Persistent symptoms and risk factors predicting prolonged time to symptom-free after SARS‑CoV‑2 infection: an analysis of the baseline examination of the German COVIDOM/NAPKON-POP cohort.
This prize is awarded for outstanding publications by young epidemiologists. The Young Talent Prize is granted for first authors whose publications focus on methods or results from epidemiological research and have a recognizable connection to research in Germany.
