At the 2025 annual reception of the Faculty of Medicine at LMU, held on 19 July, PD Dr. Ursula Berger was honoured with the Harald Mückter Award by Professor Dr. Martin Fischer. The award recognises her longstanding dedication to the advancement of biostatistical education in medicine, including her key role in initiating the national „Learning Objectives Catalogue for Medical Biometry in Medical Education“, the development of the digital learning tool epiLEARNER.de, her contributions to the curriculum reform within MECUM_Science and her efforts to promote biostatistics education both nationally and internationally. Her teaching combines clarity, accessibility, and innovation with a strong commitment to empowering students to independently apply statistical thinking in medicine and global health.
