Computer Access
The IBE maintains the computer lab (K5) (Klinikum Großhadern, lecture room hallway K02) for students of the Faculty of Medicine at the LMU. The computer lab (Kursraum 5) is equipped with about 30 work spaces that include access to linux, internet, extensive statistics programs, office programs, printers and scanners.
A guest login (without storage space and printing privileges) as well as an access card (valid for a semester - 6 months) for the K5 computer lab is available at the IBE (Room K U1, Number 804, Phone: 4400-74484). Please make an apointment with Herr von Bomhard bomhard@ibe.med.uni-muenchen.de. Please bring your student ID card, photo ID.
The computer lab is also used for lectures. During these times the room is not available. The reservation times for K5 can be found here: Computer Lab Reservations (PDF, 50 kB)
Members of the Faculty of Medicine can receive full access (including storage space and fee based printing – 5cts/page) to IBE computers with statistical analysis capabilities, as part of a statistical consultation or when working on joint projects with the IBE.
