Workshop „Risks“
The workshop „Risks“ provides the possibility for students to work through the content of that day's lecture in small groups to further deepen their knowledge in risk analysis and prognosis. Students will work on additional excercises regarding frequency and outcome measurements, types of studies, identifying and evaluating risk factors, application and interpretation of logistic regression, and survival time analysis. In addition, participants will discuss the application and presentatioin of these methods in selected publications from the medical field. The tutorial provides an additional opportunity for students to discuss any questions they may have relating to the core courses.
