Research Interest

PhD PROJECT
Development and assessment of the WHO-INTEGRATE EtD Framework

Health policy makers and public health practitioners at the local, regional, national, and global level are routinely confronted with the challenge of making complex decisions about health (e.g. allocating scarce resources, setting priorities or implementing interventions). Evidence-to-Decision (EtD) Frameworks are tools to support a transparent decision-making process and to ensure that all relevant aspects are considered. As part of a larger research project initiated by the World Health Organization, my PhD project focuses on the development and assessment of such an EtD Framework. The WHO-INTEGRATE EtD Framework is meant to be firmly rooted in WHO norms and values as well as is reflective of the changing global health landscape.
