Research Interest

The topic of my PhD research is the implementation of Statistical Process Control in the External Quality Assurance (EQS) of German hospitals. The objective is to detect quality deficits early and in their temporal context and to provide explicit indications for intervention. During the first part of the PhD project, the CUSUM technique is adopted and optimised for the performance indicators used in the EQS. The application is then tested in clinical practice.
