About

I am a PhD student in statistics and joined the working group Biometry in Molecular Medicine (led by Prof. Anne-Laure Boulesteix) in March 2023. I am also part of the research group Empirical Machine Learning at the Chair of Statistical Learning and Data Science (Department of Statistics), a member of the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML), a fellow of the LMU Open Science Center, and co-organizer of the Open Science journal club ReproducibiliTea Munich.

My research focuses on meta-scientific issues in empirical methodological research in statistics and machine learning, including the planning, design, conduct, and reporting of studies and, in that context, issues like researcher degrees of freedom, neutrality, and over-optimism.
