Research Interest

My interests are health services research, mainly focusing on functioning, social participation and quality of life in older adults as well as rehabilitation and social inclusion of people with disabilities. In this context, I am currently focusing on the development of an innovative treatment decision support tool for preoperative outpatient care using patient-reported outcome measures.

Further research interests investigate in understanding and influencing disability at a general population level taking into consideration health conditions as well as the hindering or facilitating impact of environmental factors.
