My research interests include the effects of air pollution reductions on mortality and morbidity during the COVID-19 lockdowns. I am especially interested in the relationship between changes in air quality and (non-COVID-19 associated) respiratory and cardiovascular diseases as well as the short-term effects of different air pollutants on mortality.
