in my PhD I am investigating the effects of long-term exposure to air pollutants on the human body at the place of residence. Using MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) images within the population-based cohort study KORA in Augsburg, I am analysing the development of different phenotypes, both in terms of the cardio-metabolic system and structural changes in the brain.
