About
I have been working as a PhD student in the working group Biometry in Molecular Medicine (led by Prof. Dr. Anne-Laure Boulesteix) since July 2022. I am also a member of the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML). My primary research focus has been on
- researcher’s degrees of freedom and over-optimism in gene set analysis.
- the impact of handling method failure in method comparison studies.
I obtained a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematics in Business and Economics from the University of Mannheim with a semester abroad at the University of Richmond, USA, and a Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Biostatistics from LMU Munich.
